You know what it is. This classic Air Jordan 11 has been on the waiting list of many sneakerheads for years. And following news that it’d be returning later this year, we get our first look at 2011′s “Concord” Retro. It looks like Jordan Brand has decided to take it back to the OG days with a blue icy bottom, though this year’s is far darker than the original. Naturally, the upper pins black patent leather to a white mesh and leather base. Expect this one to drop in just under five months at the height of the holiday season.

Minor changes in materials have not deterred sneakerheads from anticipating the release of the Air Jordan 5 Black/Metallic Silver. This pair, which features a higher cut of suede than previous retros of this colorway, maintains detailing similar to the 2006 release. A translucent outsole, reflective 3M tongue, and red Jumpman are just a few details that can be seen.

Congratulations to the Mavs, Dirk, Mark Cuban and Jason Kidd! I am really happy for Jason Kidd he has such a great and long career in the NBA and truly deserves it. Mark Cuban is a wild man but a straight businessman which I respect so much props to both of them and the organization!

Following endless speculation throughout the past few months it looks the the AJ XI “Concord” will finally see a second retro in 2011. The shoes are set for a release in the latter part of the year, more than likely around the same time as the past two XI releases in the Space Jam and Cool Grey.

Maintaining mostly all of the features from the original, the shoes feature leather uppers coupled with suede midsoles and all the nostalgic elements of the 1998 release.
